Hard going into 1st and REverse

Sounds like your clutch may be worn out or not fully releasing. I forget if that model has a hydraulic clutch or not. If it isn't hydraulic, make sure it's adjusted correctly. If it is hydraulic, they adjust automaticaly but it could have a leak.
