The plugs are all white, so I know the engine is running lean, but it recently started to seriously affect driving. Sometimes can't get over 35mph (the problem is very intermittent, I can't reliably reproduce it). Replaced the fuel filter, problem went away for a while, but came back. I've cleared the code 3 times now but the problem keeps resurfacing. I need suggestions...

first of all, you need someone to read the freeze frame data from the code when the light is on. it will lead him in the right direction as to what your actual problem is with the lean code. Roy
