I went to start my car and the check engine light came on and the D4 light flash

My car has only 113,245 miles on it. I went to start it and the check engine light came on and the D4 light is flashing. I recently replaced the battery and had a tune up about 2 months ago. The car will not start anymore. If it is parked on a steep driveway it will start and was driven 4 miles with no problem. On a flat surface it will not start. Please help this old lady.....
