Why does the battery drain when it sits for 10 days

Hello, first check that new battery. Is it fully charged? Is it able to handle a load? Secondly, if a fully charge battery goes dead in 10 days, there must be a parasitic draw present causing loss of battery power. Testing will be required to find out what may be causing this draw.
