Transmission d4 blinks

This is not an answer but more a question because I'm having the same problem. Mine is also not shifting out of first and sometimes second gear but the D4 light is always on when it's having this problem. I used to be able to unhook my battery terminals and let it sit for a minute and then put them back on and everything would be fine again but that's not working anymore. Also it's telling me that my rear brake lamp is out it's going to be a light on my dashboard. And also I should be able to just mess with the terminal wires without even taking the terminals off for it to go back to normal but it's stuck now sometimes it shifts out of first and I can go as high as second but right now I'm stuck in first. It used to be in the beginning when this problem started. My radio would flash on and off in my antenna would go up and down. is this a problem you're having as well?
