Car gauge reading hot

What is your question?

Car was running hot replaced thermostat, was fine... Then temp gauge would go up an down.. Replaced temp sending unit.. Now drive 5 mins reads hot. Took thermostat out because stuck open.. Still have heat still reading hot oil looks good not smoking no check-in light..sometines idles rough..do have to add coolant every couple if days.. See no leaks anywhere

What makes this problem better or worse?
