battery is failing and brake lights are doing it

on the brake petal arm (about 6 inches above brake petal)is a small rubber button that pushes the brake switch light, some times they dry out and fall off. look on floor under brake petal you might find peices of it, a new button is a few bucks. I put a penny on some double sided tape for temp. fix
