What is your question?
I think my air conditioner pump is worn out. Could I remove the pump, and find a belt to fit only my steering pump, and alt.? I'm afraid to drive it as the pulley locks up from time to time and smokes the belt. I don't feel the car is worth the money to replace the pump.
I need to find a diagram of the belt system. This is my first Honda. Not much room to see in there and tell. A mechanic told me I'd have to take the power steering, alt. off, air cond. out, and find a belt to fit. The air works good, but I can live without it. I'm afraid of it locking up, then I'm really in trouble. I'm afraid to drive it very far which I did in the past. Thanks for your reply. I will try to find out if it has its own belt. I don't think it does though. It looks like just the one belt, but will look again. Thanks, Bob
No, thats not the case on this car. The belt runs the power steering, and the alt. It looks like a belt from a simular model without ac, might fit without removing the compressor. Anyone ever done this before? HELP
