What is your question?
sometimes, not always, when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear or when going up a hill the car will jerk as in a spark plug miss or lack of fuel. I tried to force the problem by going up a steep hill at 20 mph and up shifting to load the engine and it would not do it. It is a some time thing. The fuel pump with integral filter was replaced a few months ago. Is the problem ignition or fuel?

It is hard to say with out being able to experience the problem first hand, or be able to drive the vehicle and experience the problem and carry out some basic tests. On some Hondas all the Exhaust Gas Ricurculation got dumped into one cylinder as the EGR passages got plugged up with carbon in the intake manifold, try disconnecting the vacuum hose at the EGR valve and see if that changes the way the car misbehaves. After that ignition misfire would be the next most common problem. Just a note, your car has adjustable valves which are often over looked as part of a tune up/service.
