I am trying to order a replacement gateway module as I was told that this would resolve the 'Service Hybrid System" error I am getting. Does anyone know if there is more than one or if this would be it?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. In your Yukon, the serial gateway module serves as a communication hub for various electronic systems, including the hybrid system. It is located behind the dash toward the passenger side of the vehicle. There is generally one primary gateway module, but depending on the configuration and specific systems installed, there may be additional modules related to other functions. To resolve the "Service Hybrid System" error, replacing the gateway module could help if it's indeed faulty. However, it's also a good idea to ensure there aren't any other underlying issues, such as wiring problems or faults in other hybrid components. If you're unsure, consulting a trusted shop for a diagnosis may be a good idea.
