What is your question?
I recently replaced the driver front signal lamp socket because of appearing scorched and brittle. Original GM parts were used. Wiring was swapped wire for wire and all connections soldered and taped. The turn signal works normally until headlights are on. At which time, message comes on the dashboard that turn signal is on even when it is not. When it is turn on when headlights are on, it fails to work. Turn the headlights off and it goes back to working. All bulbs front/ rear, left and right have been replaced, L/R and F/R turn signal fuses have been replaced, turn signal switch at steering column has been replaced, multi plug turn signal block at passenger rear has been replaced. Problem still exists.

Hello, it sounds like you have a level of skill and understanding. But, until you check the circuits for what's happening while the problem is occurring, you'll never know where to look. What was the original reason you replaced a socket? You didn't just happen upon it, obviously there was a symptom you were approaching. What was that? Have you checked the headlight switch itself and the wiring connector at the switch? Other than those checks, a workshop wiring diagram would be helpful to trace the wires and see what's happening. Perhaps whenever some of the work was done for repairs, something inadvertently happened. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
