What is your question?
No diagnostic code. slight drip over night (1/4 cup)on garage floor. Seems possible for home repair but wonder if there are some hidden pitfalls that didn't show up in the repair manual I have? I'd replace both the pump and the thermostat.

If the water pump needs to be replaced, the process of doing so may require a skilled mechanic. Not only is the process of changing the pump out sensitive, but many times, a lot of components must be removed in order to get to the pump. If you are not comfortable with this kind of thing, I suggest taking your car to a quality and reliable mechanic.
