What is your question?
my headlights stay on 100% of the time. when the green daytime light indicator is on, i cannot use my bright lights. the green indicator has a malfunction and stays on 90% of the time, even at night. how do you disconnect or override that to manually turn your lights on instead of the sensor regulating it?

The green light is for your "Daytime Running Lights" (or DRL as most people refer to it). It sends half-power to your dim headlight bulbs. Some cars have seperate DRLs, some use the headlights with half power. So you cant turn on your brights by having your DRLs on. Turn your headlights on manually and you can have brights on, if needed. I did this because I ran Silverstar headlights. Awesomely bright, but having them on 24/7 made them burn out a lot faster than I wanted. Unplug the small clip from the back of your rear view mirror. One clip has 6 or 8 wires, and one clip has 2. The 2 is the automatic headlight sensor, and the other dims the mirrors when the auto headlights are activated. And pull fuse 15 I think it is. It'll keep the daytime lights off (which will always be on cuz you unhooked the clip above). But fuse 15 also controls your fog lights, so keep the fuse handy in case you are expecting fog you can pop it back in. Doing both of these will give you 100% control over your headlights. If you just pull the fuse, they'll still automatically kick on at night. If you dont like the fuse idea (which compromises your fog lights as well), you can pull the DRL relay, which is located up under your dash by the radio. Its a real pain to get to, unless you have small hands and you know what you're doing. The fuse was the easy fix.
