What is your question?
I have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, the fuel relay switch, which gets really hot for some reason, changed the EGR valve. I took it into a mechanic and they thought it was a vacuum leak, and they said they checked it all and thought they found one. They called me and said it hasn't stalled and think its fine. Went and picked it up and I wasn't even a block away and it stalled as I was driving, had to pull over(keep in mind still has power, pulled over put in park then started it back up and it started. Drove it home no issues, drove it the next day and same issues..... Tried troubleshooting it myself again, looked at the vacuum diagram and it showed they had the hoses switch for the one going to the fuel tank. So I switched them, drove it for two days and it was fine. Then today it was back to same issues but much worse, just be driving along and rpm drop to 0 then it stalls out and have to pull over, sometimes it will start right back up, but today it just wasn't happening.... Any idea's, thoughts, would be greatly helpful, just don't have the money to take it into a mechanic, pretty good with vehicles and have worked on a few, but this one has me so confused.....

Sorry to hear you are having a difficult time with your Yukon. You nailed it! Intermittent issues are very difficult to pinpoint. I think the best option for you is to find a shop that is willing and you are willing to let them have it long enough to find the cause without breaking the bank. A good technician can find this problem for you.
Thanks for your response! So I took it to my friend thats been working on cars for years. Found the issue, but now figuring out why it keeps happening is going to be the next challenge. So for some reason the fuel pump relay switch keeps burning out. It gets really hot, I even see that its kinda arched itself. It go so warm in kinda melted the spot where that switch goes into. What would be the best thing to find out why thats getting so hot and burning out? Should I just replace that whole fuse box? Or contact GMC and see if there ever was a recall on this or known issue of this happening? Thanks for your time!!
By "relay switch" do you mean the fuel pump relay? If so, this relay generally does get hot. too hot is the result of high resistance in the circuit. in your case the high resistance will be after the relay. so, anywhere that resistance can be generated is the place to look. poor connections at the relay, short to ground along the wire to the fuel pump, the connection at the pump. your fuel pump should have come with a new connector as this is a known high resistance point. you need a good DVOM to pinpoint high resistance problems. Like I said before a good repair shop can accomplish this as it is basic electrical trouble shooting, if your shop cannot handle this, stay away from them.
Yes the fuel pump relay. I really appreciate your time and advise! I haven't had any issues the last two days since I put in another new one. I will get it into a shop asap to see if they can track down the high resistance issues. Thanks again!! You have been the most helpful !
