What is your question?
I am trying to use my navigation on my 2019 GMC Terrain. The screen says "No Sim Card Detected" when it's clearly there and pushed in. Do I need a new Sim Card? I bought this used at a car dealership. It had only 30,000 miles on it, and is still under factory warranty.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Terrain. If your navigation system shows a "No SIM Card Detected" message, it could be due to a few issues. First, the SIM card might be damaged or not seated properly, so double-check its alignment. It's also possible the SIM card reader is faulty, or there's a software issue in the infotainment system. You might try a system reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. If that doesn't help, your dealer should be able to address it under warranty, especially if it's a hardware fault. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
