What is your question?
The mechanic at Firestone said we needed a new computer, since they reset it and the car started and worked for almost 3 weeks. And again last week, the car wont start and the check stabilitrak light is on. How much would be the repair. We bought a new computer, and the same problem happened. So the computer is not the issue.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Resetting the computer
How long has your 2010 GMC Terrain had this problem?
a few weeks

Hello, what an unfortunate thing – – replacing a computer that wasn't necessary. You need a skilled technician, not a Firestone store, to check your vehicle out and find out what is going on. Stabiitrak issues will not affect starting the vehicle. It is more likely to be on as a result of a low battery voltage issue. Hands on testing is needed to figure out what is going on - by a skilled, trusted technician near you that has the ability and resources to find out what is truly happening.
