Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. Putting diesel fuel in your Terrain can cause several issues. First, make sure all the diesel is removed, as even a tiny amount can cause problems. It may be necessary to flush the fuel system completely. Next, since the battery is dead, ensure it's fully charged or replace it if necessary. Try to prime the fuel system after addressing the fuel and battery issues. This can usually be done by turning the ignition on (without starting the engine) a few times to allow the fuel pump to circulate the gasoline. If it still doesn't start, you may need to check the spark plugs and injectors for any residue from the diesel, as they could be affected. If problems persist, consider having a mechanic perform a thorough diagnostic. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
