Hi, Where is the heater motor resistor located and how is it accessed? Thank you, Mark K

On 2001 GMC Sonomas with air conditioning the blower motor resistor is located on the top side of the HVAC case under the hood, towards the center of the vehicle, next to the evaporator core. All you can see is the electrical connector. You must cut the access cover to remove it and replace the resistor. On vehicles with no a/c the resistor should be located next to the blower motor, under the hood.
