Hello, it's super hard to theorize via the Internet based on your concern. You definitely need some hands on guidance by a shop near you. Here is a link to some folks who can help: http://repairpal.com/gmc-within-10-miles-of-keiser-arkansas-72351
i red your answer to my question, i thank you. i carried to a shop in Osceola which is 10 miles from keiser with out checking for the leak they said that i needed a upper and lower intake gasket's, they said to take it some where else they did not have the time to fool with it. i carried to another shop they said the same thing that i needed a upper and lower gasket's the parts and labor would run $345.00 plus tax that's out of my budget. today i re filled radiator and antifreeze poured from top of auto transmission. any other suggestions ?
First, kudos to you for taking it to some shops. I'm glad you got some opinions that at least concur. Here's the problem -- you'll need to find someone to fix it at a price you can afford. It might take some calling around and looking, but perhaps you will find a shop or technician out there that can help. Try a few places. I bet you'll have luck. It will cost some money to fix, no doubt. And, no, unfortunately there is no other solution than to fix it right. I'm sorry! Best of luck. Remember that driving a vehicle with leaking coolant can cause further damage to the engine, so be careful!
