on my dashboard my parking light and an ! mark are blinking simtaneously

The blinking brake warning light on your 1991 GMC Sonoma indicates the ABS module is in a failure mode. The module should be mounded to the side of the master cylinder. With the ignition off, try disconnecting both of the module's electrical connectors for 30 seconds and see if the light resets.
