Check engine light on, Transmission stuck in 1st gear, software update suggestion by technichan

What is your question?

The check engine light is on, the truck would not change out of 1st gear. The truck was transported to GMC garage. The technician said it needed an updated software for the sensor.

Vehicle should still be under factory warranty .. After the work is completed - say thank you and drive away - IF any problems - contact General Motors Corp.
