the brakes were acting "spungee" , and within a 100 or so miles the power steering pump started growling, so I change the leaking power-brake line. i topped it off, and now there is no throttle response, and the "REDUCED ENGINE POWER" is displayed. I worked the steering wheel back and forth to get air out. Still no throttle response. s
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, I would suspect that there is a relationship there. Your power steering fluid supports power brake operation on this vehicle. You may have to have some testing performed with a diagnostic tool to resolve your concern.
Closely inspect wiring connector at the throttle body - may have gotten inadvertently dislodged or damaged..
That’s the only ‘logical’ connection between the two problems!
