What is your question?
The brake lights still work but my cruise control has stopped working. The wires are colored but the switch only has the letters A B C D E and F as identifiers for the wires. How can I find out which terminals the 3 broken wires connect tro?

Get a new wire connector/pigtail for the brake light switch from NAPA .. There should be enough wire left in the old connector to identify wire colors so you can re-wire the new one accordingly .... ALL wires will be 'one' color in new connector so you'll need to know the color code/position! .. (You can always take it to a professional.) Stoplight Switch Connector: PRODUCT LINE > Echlin Ignition > PART # > ECH EC207 > FITMENT > 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD 3/4 Ton - Pickup Good luck!
Thanks Pushrod for your reply. The 3 wires are broken off clean where they come out of the connector, so I cannot tell what color they are where they go into the connector. Do you think that this is affecting my cruise control function?
YES - that is also the cruise control cancel switch .. Remove old connector .. Take connector apart while carefully nothing which pin and wire comes from which 'letter' slot in connector, should be enough wire for color id .. Make a note of that for later reference! .. Otherwise you'll need a wiring schematic... At that point take it to a pro! .. This shouldn't be all that expensive to just go ahead and have it repaired @ a shop.
Thanks pushrod for the help. I replaced the connector like you suggested. Everything works fine now. Appreciate your help. Have a good year.
