sensor in rear left bumper area

What is your question?

I saw a 3" x 3" x 1" plastic encased sensor hanging from a wire on the rear left underside in front of the bumper . I cant see where it came from . What is it for and where does it belong? This is a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab.
