Internet research indicates that the cabin air filter was discontinued after 2003. I did see something about the HVAC deodorant, that will be the next step--and I took out and thoroughly cleaned the blower cage. Cat catches mice, snakes, etc., brings them into the house, and lets them go!
I didn't look it up but knew some years did have the filter, I have changed them .. Cleaning and deodorizing should take care of it.. Your cat just likes to play!
