Replaced crank sensor and started best kind,took her for a run and shut off and had to get her towed home. Wouldn't start.

PO149 not related to crankshaft position sensor in any way... In fact that is a very rare code. Highly recommend concentrating on fuel delivery to the engine!! Good luck!

Do you ever hear the in tank fuel pump turn on for 3 seconds when key is turned on? Fuel system problems are much more prevalent on these vehicles than the ignition system !

What size engine are you worki with. Primarily this code sets with diesel applications and high pressure fuel pump circuit issues
