FOB transmitter (0-GM904F) programmed correctly but does unlock/lock door. Maybe receiver is problem but cant find it in passenger door.
Suggest professional scan test > Body control module (BCM)... Scanner functional test will test system .. No way in hell to guess at it and get it right! .. Module isn't in door .. Probably good idea to TEST all the fuses first thing!
thank you for your reply. if the bcm is not in the door, do you know where it is. scan has been done, fuses are working
Did the scanner itself lock/unlock doors using functional test? .. BCM is very reliable part! www.alldatadiy.com
If you don't know where the BCM is located, please just say so, perhaps somebody else will know where it is. Thank you.
FOB doesn't work at all? .. Why would you be looking for a "receiver" in the 'passenger' door?
My original question should have been: Brand new FOB transmitter (0-GM904F) programmed correctly but it does NOT unlock/lock truck doors. Maybe receiver is problem but cant find it in passenger door (a mechanic told me receiver was in passenger door but cant find it).
