Hello, Where is the grinding noise coming from? Disc brakes have a feature called a wear indicator. It rubs against the rotor to make noise when the brakes pads get low. Check the brake pad thickness, and let me know if that is not the cause, but it is very likely as the wear indicator will not make noise with even the slightest pressure to the brake pedal.
