Last night after hooking up my Subs I heard a popping sound and then my stereo went out and my speedometer would not work. I've come to the conclusion that this is an electrical malfunction in wiring.
What do you think could be the cause?
All my grounds seem to be in decent shape.
Although there is the occasional on/off clicking of my dome light as well.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing.. its just bad now.

"After hooking up my subs" indicates a possible serious concern, as we have no idea what steps were taken to install aftermarket components in your vehicle. Damage may have been caused to components. At the very least, fuses may have been blown that lead to operation of the audio unit and also instrumentation. I'd strongly advise to restore the vehicle to the original condition, check all fuses and recheck operation.
