What is your question?
MY truck started to jerk and shutter when hitting lockup speeds at 45-55mph and the rpms jumping up and down. It did it even worse when going up a hill. I replaced the torque converter thinking this was the issue. However, after the torque converter install it is still doing it. What could be causing this? The truck is a 94 GMC k1500 (z71) automatic. It is bone stock.
What makes this problem better or worse?
it seems the same all the time
How long has your 1994 GMC K1500 had this problem?
few weeks

Ignition misfire is suspected.. Spark plug wire(s) likely culprit but probably time for full tune up. Engine ignition misfire and torque converter shudder can be confusing - torque converter shudder produces sensation of driving over rumble strips on highway - ignition misfire produces jerking / bucking sensations which can be severe at times.. Good luck!
Engine may not exhibit any problems until a particular load is reached - then misfire occurs. After torque converter lock up - engine load is at it’s greatest and misfire more likely to occur, especially while going up slight incline under steady / light acceleration.
