Google > fuel spider.... and have vehicle scan tested along with fuel pressure test, including leak down!.. The days of DIY auto repair are over with!!
I am having the exact same problem with my 96 GMC 5.7. Parts replaced and thrown at it with no sign of improvement: plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, can shaft position sensor, crank shaft position sensor, coil packs, coolent temp sensor. fuel pump, EGR, Ignition control modual. It does not have cats as it is an after market exhaust and cats have been removed. What is left?

I did read the first answer. What I am wanting to know is how his problem was actually fixed. I've been to shops. I'm tired of ignorant people throwing parts at my truck at my expence. This is why I'm attempting to fix this problem myself. Thanks for your input but I found it more annoying then helpful.
