Electronic door lock issue

I feel like an idiot but it was my fault, I tried to drill out the hatch lock and open it with a screwdriver before i called a locksmith. Drilled right through the tumbler and into something electric at which point the drillbit broke thus causing the entire system to short out until I just dug out the remainder of the bit. On the bright side I now have access inside the car with a screwdriver should the battery die again "since I only have the keyfob and no actual door keys.
