my wipers work on the regular settings but not on pulse. this is why i think i need a new module. unfortunatley the van wiper motor is different from the gm pickup trucks with the famous pulse board problem so i cant simply replace board. any ideas?

The column mounted wiper switch wire connector plugs into the pulse module - under dash. AutoZone part number DR198 This is just for identification purposes (picture) as Zone says part is NA.. However you should be able to find one elsewhere - I've done all I can here!
This is a separate part from later models wiper motor mounted boards.
IF you can’t find the wiper delay module - there is another option!
