P1007&P1003 codes?
What is your question?
P1007 & P1003 codes on my 2008 GMC Envoy SLT. The person I bought it from said there’s ticking in the engine. It does idle hard, and it dies when it idles. The battery light comes on when it dies, and the steering stops as it dies.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Did you buy the vehicle like this? Sounds like you may have inherited some internal engine issues or at best major engine performance issues that are preventing you from being able to operate the vehicle. I honestly do not see P1007 and P1003 showing up in the database of trouble codes for the vehicle...so i'd recommend a professional inspection by a technician near you to see what is happening. Steering stopping and battery light coming on when the engine stalls would be normal as the alternator and steering systems would not be working anymore.
