What is your question?
Every time I start my 05 envoy and start to drive it seems extremely difficult for it to accelerate even at a low speed. There is a low, almost like a whining, noise any time I press the gas pedal to accelerate but the engine is very loud just in general. Even when I floor it, it takes about 10 seconds for it to register and attempt to go faster. And almost seems like it's barely shifting gears. It's got zero "get up and go" to it like it just doesn't want to drive at all.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When the heat or air is running
How long has your 2005 GMC Envoy had this problem?
About a week, but it did sit out of use for about a year or more due to a busted wheel bearing hub

Hello, sounds like an air intake or exhaust system restriction. This is where I'd look first. Beyond that, engine timing or compression could be a concern. Have this tested. And after all that, if you need to look further, a general engine performance inspection will be needed, checking fuel delivery, ignition spark and air to the intake. This shouldn't be hard to figure out - a professional inspection would be able to figure it out quickly. Thank you so much for the tips! I'll definitely have all of that checked. Much appreciated!
