THE WIPERS STOPPED AND THEN STARTED. NOW HAVE COMPLETELY STOPPED. THIS IS CRAZINESS. AND ITS NOT THE MOTOR OR THE SWITCH.

Hello, hooking up the motor momentarily doesn't prove much. In continued use, a failure may occur. If the wipers stop, you'll need to check for power at the motor at the time the problem occurs. If there is power, then the motor is faulty, or wiring connector perhaps. If there is no power, trace back.
