Tough time shifting,now code p0172. Replaced Cam Sensor & Acc. Clog cad conv?

What is your question?

Replaced the Cam Position sensor and Cam position actuator solenoid{plus pigtail}. Running very lil smoother, it seems to have a very hard time shifting into the next gear. Or if I back off on the gas it will shift... thinking maybe clogged cad converter... thoughts or suggestions????
