just had alternator put in and vehicle won't start

What is your question?

My air conditioning quit working and took it to repair shop. They put a hose on for my a/c - when picked vehicle up it would not start. I drove vehicle to work and had to have it jumped off that evening. Noticed a mist coming out of the vent, Took it back to repair shop and they put in an alternator. vehicle still will not start. I purchased a new battery and drove vehicle for 1 day. My GMC Envoy still will not start. My a/c is still not working!

What makes this problem better or worse?
