2004 GMC envoy SLT. Blower motor would only run on high and stayed on even with key off. Changed resistor. Lasted 5 minutes and same issue. Changed blower motor and another new resistor. Now the blower works for like 30 seconds then shuts off for about 10 seconds then starts again. It does this on every setting except high. Dealer thinks digital control module or possibly a faulty resistor.
What makes this problem better or worse?
The issue is at all times
How long has your 2004 GMC Envoy had this problem?
Installed new blower and resistor last week.

It would seem to me that your resistor, having been replaced twice, is not the root cause of the concern. Has the dealership done the testing? There shouldn't bar a "think" involved, a test will reveal a definitive root cause of the concern.
Thanks for the response DaveJM. No, I have not had any testing or diagnostics done. I talked to the dealer service tech. He said the digital modules were an issue GMC had on various models. The part is very pricey even used. I guess I was hoping to avoid a $90.00 per hour diagnostic charge. He said it could take hours to figure it out.
