What is your question?
My envoy been running rough. Checked oil and it smelled like fuel. Changed oil and now I can't get it to start. Mechanic said I have no oil pressure non compression. Says I probably blew my motor.. but it sounds like it wants to start. .. thought maybe a new fuel pump, oil pump, maybe fuel shut off switch? Idk.. seeking a little insight
What makes this problem better or worse?
Fuel in oil.. changed oil. Won't crank
How long has your 2004 GMC Envoy had this problem?
Drove it for about 2 months.. got worse and worse before realizing fuel was in oil

Hello, If your mechanic is telling you there is a problem, and you do not agree with it, then get another opinion from another professional. If you have no measurable oil pressure, then you can't run the engine. Basically it's a matter of you trusting the technician or not. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554. Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sorry to hear about your Envoy giving you the cold shoulder. If you had fuel in your oil, it could be a sign of a leaky fuel injector or a failed fuel pressure regulator, causing fuel to seep into the crankcase. Running with contaminated oil can cause severe internal damage, including washed-out bearings and cylinder walls, leading to low compression and oil pressure issues. Since your mechanic mentioned no compression and low oil pressure, it's a good indication that the engine might be toast. However, before declaring it a total loss, compression and oil pressure tests must be done to confirm the diagnosis. If the engine's truly blown, replacing the fuel pump or oil pump won't bring it back to life.
