Did they stop working at the exact same time? The gas gauge probably needs to have it's float replaced, and the speedometer probably needs to have it's cable replaced. These are the most common solutions to these issues, but they are other possibilities. These are the most common fixes.

We also need to find out why my envoy is using a quart of oil a week and there is no smoke coming out of anywhere
