Cleaning the console and want to wash the plastic parts, I got everything unscrewed but cannot figure how to remove the shit knob, it doesn't have a set screw at the base?

YES it has a set screw at the base it is on the front (radio) side - T-15 Torx need. There is an electrical connector under the shifter boot that must be removed as well. Good luck!
