No brake lights, no dash lights

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. With so many things affected by concerns, I can understand why it seems like there could be a single cause for all the issues. However, it is too hard to know without starting to test the individual areas and determine why things are not working. The brake lights is a good start - is there a blown fuse? Does the brake light switch work? Do the headlights and tail lights and parking lights work independently of the brake lights not working? These are things to look at first. As far as the dash and heat and air - is there nothing lighting up or operating at all? if so, I would again be looking at circuit protection and blown fuses first, then further into individual component concerns.
