Shop with proper scanner - live data - can test TPS voltage readings 'from' the ECM... Key on engine off... Should read 'approx' 0 volts at closed throttle to over 4 volts at wide open throttle ... Faulty TPS signal WILL cause transmission shift problems... Check wiring harness and connector to the TPS.. May have been damaged during trans R&R... Transmission itself should be under warranty.. (?)
