compressor clutch not engaging

Check both senors. There's one on the compresser and the other one is on the condenser. mine was the condenser. it had melted the conector went to junck yard and found one and replaced it. works great.

You need to have a shop pull a vacuum on the system to remove oxygen and refill with the proper amount of freon as the pressure switch won't power up the compressor clutch until this is completed. You can find a shop here www.repairpal.com/directory
