Water temp gauge is reading too high. What is a solution?

find a mechanic..........or reply to question????

may have a leak in the system or haven't got right mix of antifreeze or you could have airlock take cap off start engine drain some out shut car off first drain some start car or truck add the amount back to fill line while engine running or your water pump isn't circlelating the water fins could be rusted off in the pump.that one happen to me
