What could be the cause of the sound I hear from the back of my truck ? It happens at about 35 to 40 and it sounds as of a rubbing or slight grind and as I come to a stop u hear something like there is stuff sliding from back to front in my bed of truck ?
What is your question?
I have also noticed and am unsure of the rear axle if u step on the brake and hit yhe gas the pig will move up and down bit the axle sleeves stay with the spring mounts and shocks is this normal ?

Rear brakes seem fine but as I was trying to explain the whole axle should move together I think on this truck but instead only the pig kicks downwards like it is gonna drop the driveshaft out and the sleeves going to the sides of the pig that contain the axles stay in same position or should it actually .
well I had never seen the axle tubes move before either because at looking at the pig and the axle tunes there looks to be some kind of ears that lock tohether the tubes and pig but my friend and my brother both watch the axle as I pressed the gas while holding the brake and both told me they were moving grom the pig twisting and axle tubes not moving ..
Better take it on in to a shop and get it checked out while its on a lift...a drive on lift would be the best for checking it out... Can do the same thing as on the ground but mechanic can stand under truck and watch everything!... Never have seen that before... Shop may not charge anything just to check it out..........we don't at the shop!

The axle tubes can't move separate from the "pig" and that shouldn't cause the noise!
