Possible failing blower motor requiring too much current when on high speed... Also check all applicable wire/connections for signs of *high resistance* > Melted plastic wire connectors or blackened wire terminals .. Don't overlook the blower 'relay' under hood.
there is a connector on the high speed wire that was melted and caused it to lose the connection. When it was connected even with an inline fuse it burned out the switch. Replaced the switch and unpluged the hi speed wire until I can trace where the high wire goes from under the dash.
Cut out the failed connector and hardwire that circuit .. Blower motor is still suspect!
