What is your question?
Drove my car approximately 500 miles to clear the evap. Not successful. My mechanic changed the ignition coil as well as the spark plugs. He said drive 50 miles and it should reset. I drove the 50 and it did not reset. He said drive another 50, still no good. I’m at 500 highway miles now ( 120 at a time non stop) and it’s still not resetting. Any suggestions would be great. I also checked the gas cap and it's seal is good. Thanks

Hello, setting the evaporative emissions monitor requires specific conditions to be met. Some of them are - having a medium amount of fuel in the tank -- like maybe a half tank. And driving the vehicle normally on roads and perhaps highways at sustained speeds of 55-60 miles per hour. Nothing needs to necessarily be replaced, and it's never out the distance driven, ut more about the type of driving being done. Just start by verifying your fuel tank is between one quarter and three quarters of a tank of fuel.
