my check engine light light turned on early last week and it’s starting to make a rattle noise when driving not bad not loud but there. the car has about 215,000 miles on it, what do you think should i fix the timing chain or maybe sell it to a mechanic or something

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Guessing that your vehicle has a concern with the timing chain it's just that – it's a guess. What evidence do you have that the timing chain is making a rattling noise? Is it possibly a tensioner concern? A pulley? Something else?
